JD Sports opens at Belfast International Airport for Euro 16
JD Sport will open an airside retail unit for the duration of the competition, making sure fans don’t leave without their essential football kits and accessories.
Belfast International Airport Director of Commercial Development, Brian Carlin, said the arrival of JD Sports was an essential part of airport preparations for the planned football getaway.

“There will be a tremendous buzz about the Terminal, and we’re delighted JD Sports will add to the atmosphere.
“The ‘Green and White’ Army will find everything they need at the JD Sports outlet before the big ‘airlift’ to France. We also expect to see significant numbers of Republic of Ireland fans coming through the Terminal and they, too, will be catered for with ample stocks of football kits and sportswear available.
“JD Sports will remain with us for six weeks and we’re sure they’ll add to the party mood for the fans whether they’re going to the games or supporting their team on the telly.”
