Sadness at death of popular Ballymoney teacher
The death has occurred of a popular Ballymoney former teacher, Mrs Linda Smith.
Mrs Smith died recently at Antrim Area Hospital.
Linda taught English in most of the local Ballymoney schools during the 90s and was a former pupil of Dalriada School.
During her time at Dalriada, she performed in many of the school plays in the leading roles. She spoke Spanish, French and Russian and travelled widely.
Linda’s funeral will take place in Ballymoney on Monday (March 1).
