Bill’s fundraising efforts soaring to new heights
The 46-year-old scaled Ben Nevis last month and completed the gruelling Annalong Valley Challenge in August as part of his fundraising mission for Cancer Focus NI.
And what make’s Bill’s story so remarkable is the fact that just five years ago, Bill was unable to walk after undergoing a double hip replacement.

Hide AdSince then, he has conquered the UK’s tallest peak twice and has his sights set on the mammoth Celtic Mountain Challenge, which sees participants take on the four highest peaks highest peaks in Ireland.
The father-of-three’s fundraising efforts were inspired by his own experiences of losing friends and loved ones to cancer, and his recent endeavours have seen him secure the whopping total of £2,051.25 for his chosen charity – smashing his previous record of £1,500, which he raised back in 2010.
“I would like to thank all my family, friends and work colleagues, as well as all those individuals and businesses who sponsored or supported me either by donating prizes, promoting my events or offering their service in any way,” Bill said.
