‘Head-shave’ accused ‘in relationship’ with injured party, court told
The comment was made by a PSNI constable during a bail application on behalf of Nathan Telford (22), of Beechwood Avenue, Ahoghill, who is accused of unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm on the woman; attempted grievous bodily harm; and common assault.
Three other people - Paul Joshua Balmer (41), whose address was given as HMP Maghaberry; Alister William Hamilton (22), of Shane Court, Broughshane; and Paula Wilson (20), of no fixed abode - also face the same charges on a date between May 18-22.

Hide AdThe police officer told Ballymena Magistrates Court that video footage - allegedly taken by the defendant Wilson on her mobile phone - shows Telford saying “I love you” and “as long as you’re alright, pet” before the injured party had her eyebrow shaved.
Refusing bail, District Judge Desmond Perry described the incident as “utterly depraved”.
