Glengormley to stage Culture Carnival
Dance your way to Lilian Bland Community Park at 12 noon for a great day of carnival atmosphere and family fun.
A wide range of family fun activities are planned for the park. These will run until 5pm.

Hide AdThese activities include circus skills, face painting, bouncy castles, cage football and lots more.
The theme for this year’s carnival is “Be United” with food demonstrations from across the world, a carnival parade and music all on offer to celebrate the theme.
The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor John Scott, commented: “Make sure you visit Lilian Bland Community Park and take in all the colour and fun on offer at the Culture Carnival. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the world we live in and experience different cultures.”
Cllr john Blair is encouraging the community to come and enjoy the events that are taking place. The Alliance representative said: “I have attended the carnival in previous years and it has gained momentum, There is great interaction between the council and the local community and I would encourage more people to come and support it this year.”
