Hide AdBooks are a great way to share experiences, explore ideas and link up with other people who share a passion for reading. Nearly two million people in the UK are living with sight loss and for many blind and partially sighted people, reading also helps to reduce isolation and plays an essential role in their health and well-being.
There is a range of library services available to people with additional needs, including people who are blind or partially sighted.
· Large print - all libraries have a wide range of books in larger than average print
· Audiobooks - libraries offer books on CD which, like printed books, are free to borrow
