National Playday to be marked in Wallace Park
There will be a chance to play at the Red Apple Arts play station featuring dragon and princess fantasy play and prop making. Or make coloured bunting to decorate the play park with the help of local artist Anu Sundaralingam.
Playday is the national day for play, traditionally celebrated on the first Wednesday in August. Thousands of children and their families get out to play at hundreds of community events across the UK.
