A spokesman for BTW Shieils - the property consultancy that runs Foyleside - said plans were afoot to build another retail level above the vacant store.
The development follows the closure of Argos last year. The outlet in question is listed by Land and Property Services as having a net annual value of £215,500. The spokesman said: “Argos left the centre and we have had expressions of interest from tenants.”

Planners have received an application for “additional retail level over existing retail unit M3, Level 3, Foyleside Shopping Centre.”
