Competition nets £300 for Mayor’s charities
Local anglers netted hundreds of pounds for the Mayor’s charities by taking part in a recent fly fishing competition at Mossley Mill trout fishery.
Ben Lowry, overall winner of the Mayor’s Charity Angling Competition, and John Webster, Chairman of Three Mile Water Conservation & Angling Association, presented Mayor Thomas Hogg with a cheque for the £300 raised at the event.
The money raised by the anglers has been donated to the Mayor’s three charities - ABF The Soldier’s Charity, Autism NI and Cancer Fund for Children.
