'˜Proud' Arlene Foster tops Fermanagh-South Tyrone poll
Foster polled 8,801 votes, well over the quota of 6,740 to emerge as the first holder of one of six seats at Omagh Leisure Centre.
In second place on the first count, Sinn Fein’s Michelle Gildernew took 6,614 votes, while one of her three running mates, Sean Lynch, took 4,782.

Hide AdThe SDLP’s Richie McPhillips, meanwhile, polled 4,014 votes, and the DUP’s sitting MLA, Maurice Morrow, polled 6,602.
A delighted Arlene Foster told assembled media she was confident her transfers would “put Maurice back in his place” and over the line to keep his seat.
Ulster Unionist candidates Alastair Patterson and Rosemary Barton took 3,010 and 3,018 votes respectively, John Feely (SF) took 4,002, Phil Flanagan (SF) 3,449, Donald Crawford (TUV) 1,164, Kerri Blyberg (Alliance) 539, Tamya Jones (Green Party) 897 and Damien Harris (NI Labour Representation Committee) 285.
