Teenager charged with Belfast city centre stabbing
The 18-year-old man was charged last night with the murder of Hazem Ahmed Ghreir.
Mr. Ghreir died after he was stabbed at Downshire Place, in the Great Victoria Street area of the city, on Sunday night.

Hide AdDetective Inspector Darren McCartney, who is leading the investigation, said: “We are continuing to appeal to anyone who was in Downshire Place or the vicinity of Great Victoria Street, around 10.45 pm, on Sunday night, to contact police.
“I am particularly keen to speak to a man and his partner who attempted to assist Mr. Ghreir following the attack.”
The officer also asked anyone who may have footage of the incident to contact detectives by ringing 101.
Mr. Ghreir, a Syrian national, is believed to have been living in Carrickfergus.
