Woman is now ‘fully insured’ after admitting driving offence
Six penalty points were imposed on a Lurgan woman last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for driving without insurance on March 23 this year.
Sarah McCandless (40) of Mourne Road was also fined £200 and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
As well she was fined £100 for not having a vehicle test certificate.

Hide AdThe court heard the offences came to light when she was stopped while driving on the Lurgan Road, Portadown.
A barrister representing the defendant said her youngest child had come out in a rash and she simply took the car. She had now obtained insurance and a date for the MOT.
