Whitehead Trojans recorded an 11-3 home success against bottom team Alpha with two from two for G. Jones, N. McFaul, G. McCormick and C. Hobson but the highest scorers on the night were Hugh McMurtry’s Cowboys who ran up 12 frames at Eastway, losing only two in return. P. McCafferey and D. Kincaid both scored the maximum three from three.
The Brown Cow Inn team are slowly but surely returning to the form that seen them challenging for the title last season.
Rab Brown’s MSC Trojans moved up to fifth spot after winning a crunch match over Michael Lowry’s Barbarians. Johnny Mackay kept up his fine form with yet another hat-trick. Eslewhere, Greenisland had a bye this week.
