Defibrillator boost for Shogun ju-jitsu clubs
The award will help purchase their new community Defibrillator for their clubs and associated groups.
Outgoing Mayor, Councillor Thomas Hogg and Councillor John Blair visited Antrim’s Shogun Ju-Jitsu Club to present the coaching team with the new Club Defibrillator recently. It was gratefully accepted by Shogun’s in-house Doctor Renata Bartova on behalf of Sensei’s Paul and Mandi Timperley including their Assistant team.

“It will help us purchase this superb piece of essential life-saving equipment. It will be an excellent asset to our clubs and our associated groups for many years to come, one we hopefully will never have to use.”
Paul also paid tribute to the two elected representatives for their effort on behalf of the club: “Mandi and I would like to personally thank Councillors Hogg and Blair for all their hard work and support over the past 14 months, both gentlemen are welcome to come back and visit us in the future.”
