Hide AdThings degenerated further for the Carrick boys when Gareth Logan was dismissed by referee David Gillen for an over-exuberant challenge.
Bangor were finding it easy enough against 11, but with the extra man the floodgates really could have opened.
In the end, the Amateurs settled for nine with Kilroot mightily relieved to hear the full-time whistle.
On Saturday, it’s a local derby as Kilroot travel to Mossley FC.
