"That performance was much more like us and I've said that more in recent weeks," said Kearney.
"I have been a bit frustrated recently but I can't say enough about how good that performance was.

"We are still the same good side as last year and hopefully have gotten into our stride now because there have been very good signs in recent games.
"I'm over the moon with it and I think that it was a very accomplished performance for the whole team."
With both strikers finding the back of the net Kearney was quick to single both of them out for praise.

"Like all strikers they are confidence players and this will give them even more confidence going into the next game.
"We have been doing lots of crossing and shooting in our last seven or eight training sessions.
"It's starting to pay dividends for us and as I have said before it certainly more like the Limavady United I know."

"Yes of course it's a bit disappointing to concede as I felt it was key for us to keep a clean sheet.
"We spoke about it at half-time and all the players know including the front two take pride in a clean sheet.
"They know that the work starts with them and I thought when 'Doc' pulled off that save that we warranted the clean sheet.

With Shane Jennings making a welcome return to action the United boss is pleased to see him back.
"Of course it's nice to see him come off the bench today and it's even better to see him not pick up a knock.
"It's probably a week or two too soon but Shane knows his own body and he was adamant he was ready to go.

"Hopefully we can kick on from Saturday's victory now and set ourselves up for a very good season," concluded Kearney.
