Trevor hangs on for only win
TREVOR Flack held on to get Finaghy’s only win away to Sydenham in NIBA Division Four when the visitors lost by 50 shots.
Down 2-12 at the tenth and 3-30 at 17 ends John Moore lifted a three but lost by 29 shots.

Hide AdAt the tenth Jim Curry was 2-13 down and 5-22 at 15 ends. Finaghy lifted two, four but dropped a last end four to lose by 17 shots.
A four helped Trevor Flack to a 10-6 lead at the tenth but he was 12-16 down five ends later. Down 15-17 at 18 ends Finaghy lifted two doubles which meant a dropped single at the last end still left them winners by a shot.
At the tenth Gregory Peacock was 10-11 down and 11-17 at 15 ends. Despite lifting a three Finaghy were 15-22 down with two ends left when they added one, two.
The Finaghy B match at home to North Down B in NIBA Division Seven was called off.
