United take part in return of Charity Shield
Irish Cup runners-up Ballymena United are to play League Champions Cliftonville in the Charity Shield, it has been confirmed.
The game will be at Solitude, Belfast, on Saturday, August 2 with a 3pm kick-off.
Admission prices to be confirmed at a later data, but all proceeds will go to the Northern Ireland Hospice.
A spokesperson said that Ballymena United Football Club are delighted to be part of this occasion, and look forward to raising money for the chosen charity.
